Christopher 'Boats' OShana is a retired Navy Veteran who served 20 years. He is currently pursuing his AAS in Digital Photography from Phoenix College.
Boats has received numerous awards for his photography including the Maricopa County Community College District Artist of Promise winner in 2011 and placed in the 2012 Western Eye Photography Competition at Phoenix College. In 2013 granted workspace at the monOrchid Gallery and has been a valued member of the monOrchid team ever since. Discover more about OShana HERE.
Nicole is the Curator of shade projects at The Monorchid handling our two galleries showcasing new exhibitions and local artists each month. She works tirelessly supporting the local art scene, its artists and the monOrchid.
She is a freelance writer covering the arts across the valley for AZFoothills Magazine, Localrevibe, North Valley Magazine, and YabYum Music & Arts.
She is also an artist who has extensively exhibited her work in both AZ and CA. She has a BA in Art History from ASU and a extensive background in sales and business.

Meet the GUY WHO BROUGHT IT ALL TO LIFE
Wayne Rainey is a third generation Phoenician and has worked in most sectors of the arts industry including his commercial photography business, serving on the Board of the Phoenix Arts Commission, publishing and founding a regional magazine about the arts (shade magazine), and showing his own work at nationally recognized galleries.
Having become a proponent of smart growth in AZ, he has also worked extensively on creating a more urban living environment in what was once a blighted downtown Phoenix. His current goals include broadening his clientele in his advertising photography business and invigorating the downtown core.
